It aims to redress the grievances of people living in urban areas like corporations, municipalities and town panchayats in getting certificates, taxation issues, drinking water connections and commercial licenses.
How it works ?
To set this right, officials concerned would meet the people every Wednesday and take efforts for time-bound delivery of services
During the meetings, the officials would look after petitions regarding birth and death certificates, profession tax, wealth tax, approval for buildings, name change, certificate for BPL families and underground sewerage connection
Already, the Revenue Department has been implementing Assured Maximum Service to Marginal People in All Villages (AMMA) Scheme to deliver services to the people at their doorsteps.
